When we decide to bring a puppy dog, we must ask ourselves many questions to understand if we are ready and if there are the conditions to welcome it and make it grow in the best way.
LARGE, MEDIUM OR SMALL SIZE DOG?
First of all we have to evaluate his size: a puppy arouses a lot of tenderness, but sooner or later it will grow. Do we want a large dog or a four-legged one that can move easily between furniture, tables and sofas at home? And then, will it have its own outdoor space or will it share the rooms of an apartment with us? Answering these questions will direct us on the choice of dog size. Also we have to decide whether to get a dog of Razz o a half-caste, which we can adopt through a kennel.
EDUCATING A PUPPY
How sweet a puppy looks at you with its big eyes and makes you understand that it needs pampering!
It's all very nice, but we must evaluate the commitment it requires, both in economic terms and in terms of time. A puppy must be educated by dedicating many hours to it, with patience and constancy. He must learn to eat, to relieve himself, to play, to relate to people, to stay at home even alone and to acquire all those habits that make him a well-behaved and welcome member of the family. In this we can also be supported by a educator, but we always take care to entrust our furry dog in the hands of an experienced professional.
We also think about its location in case we need to leave home without being able to take it with us: today there are many solutions, but even in this case it is good to entrust experts who take care of him in the right way.
THE PUPPY KIT
We decided: let's get a puppy! But what should we let him find when he arrives?
Surely he will have to have his own dog's bed, comfortable and in a quiet and safe area of the house or garden and a kennel, if we need to get used to traveling.
Let's not forget to buy the food suitable, bowls and chews and snacks to use as treats. And then again collar o pettorina and the leash to take him out for a walk.
Little by little he will get used to doing his business outside, but it may happen that he needs sleepers to keep at home. And i games? Every "child" must have them! Let's choose them with care, paying attention to the materials and maybe getting advice from specialized sellers.
For its hygiene let's rely on natural and safe products. A cleansing lotion or one specific shampoo for puppies they can do for us and will allow us to keep the dog and our house clean.
Finally, if we don't already know it, let's look for a veterinarian to which we can rely and that can help us keep our four legs healthy.
DOG PUPPY: YES OR NO?
As we have seen, taking a puppy requires a lot of energy, so it must be a well thought out lifestyle choice. If we are ready to take this step, let us remember that a dog is not a toy and it doesn't have to be a gift to please children. A four-legged needs time, care and affection. If we will be able to create a special relationship with him we will receive much love in return and we will be forever linked by an indissoluble relationship of mutual fidelity that will fill our life with joy.
